Kalman Saffran
President
|
Mr. Saffran has 26 years of experience in the communications
and computer industries. Prior to founding KSA, Mr. Saffran co-founded
and served as Chief Executive Officer of Monitrex Corporation, a developer
of computer performance management systems. His previous experience
includes a corporate staff position at United Brands Company and senior
staff positions at MIT where he was part of the team headed by Professor
S.C. Ting, who was awarded the 1976 Nobel Prize in Physics. He holds
a B.A. in Physics from Northeastern University and has completed graduate
studies in physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. |
Ronald G. Todd
Vice President
Engineering and Technology

Mr. Todd has 20 years of experience in the electronics
industry. He co-founded and served as president of two companies which
designed and manufactured electronic products. He has 15 years of
consulting experience with major electronics manufacturers entailing
both hardware and software design. Mr. Todd holds S.M. and S.B. degrees
in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. |
Dr. S. (Sam) Narayanan
Vice President

Dr. Narayanan has 30 years of experience in the telecommunications
industry. Prior to joining KSA, Dr. Narayanan spent 25 years at AT&T,
where he was key in the globalization of AT&T transmission products.
He established AT&T Bell Laboratories Japan, where he served as
director. Dr. Narayanan was an industry innovator in the use of digital
signal processors (DSPs), and played a fundamental role in the commercialization
of asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) by AT&T. Just prior to joining
KSA, Dr. Narayanan was founder and president of a successful contract
manufacturing company in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Narayanan holds Ph.D.
and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University,
and a B.S. degree from Indian Institute of Technology, India. |
Thomas J. Robitaille
Vice President, Sales

Mr. Robitaille has 20 years of experience
in the custom-engineered systems industry and has held positions in
project and business management as well as in sales management. Prior
to joining KSA in 1984, he was General Manager of Functional Design
Company, a Cleveland, Ohio based factory automation firm. He attended
the University of Denver. |
John H. Allen
Director, Sales
Business Systems Division

Mr. Allen has 25 years experience in a variety of technical
and management consulting roles. Prior to KSA, he was Vice President
of Sales with Daniel Penn Associates, Inc., a Philadelphia based management
consulting firm. Earlier in his career he held senior MIS positions
at a number of leading companies. He holds a B.S. degree in Economics
from Babson Institute. |
William G. Scheerer
Vice President

Mr. Scheerer has over 30 years
of extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Most recently
he was Lucent Technologies' Infrastructure Operations Vice President,
where he was in charge of Lucent's computing operations worldwide.
Prior to that he proposed, formed and served as Vice President of
AT&T's Quality, Engineering, Software, and Technologies (QUEST)
Organization. Under his leadership, QUEST developed and deployed technologies
within AT&T which helped AT&T earn three Malcolm Baldridge
awards and one Deming Prize. Prior to QUEST, he was head of the Transmission
Systems Division of Bell Laboratories in Massachusetts. Mr. Scheerer
holds an M.S.E.E. from the California Institute of Technology, a B.E.E.
from Syracuse University and has completed the Senior Executive Program
at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. |
Joseph P. Bisaccio
Vice President, Marketing

Mr. Bisaccio has over 32 years
experience in business development. He brings to KSA a wide range
of entrepreneurial, management and marketing capabilities. Mr. Bisaccio
has founded and developed several companies in diverse industries.
He is active in community service, and has recently been elected president
of the Boston Rotary. Mr. Bisaccio received an S.B. degree in Industrial
Management from the Sloan School at the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology, and an MBA from Harvard University. |
